Data Deletion Instructions
The Family Law Exchange™ — thefamilylawexchange.com
You can delete your Family Law Exchange account and the personal data associated with it at any time. There are three ways to do it — use whichever is easiest for you.
Option 1: Delete Your Account Yourself
- Log in at thefamilylawexchange.com/login.
- Go to Account Settings.
- Open the Delete Account section and confirm the deletion.
This removes your member profile and account information from the platform.
Option 2: Email Us a Deletion Request
Email admin@familylawexchange.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” from the email address on your account (or include your username).
We will delete your account and associated personal data and confirm by email within 30 days. We may retain limited records where required by law.
Option 3: If You Signed Up with Facebook
If you used Facebook Login to create or access your account, you can also remove The Family Law Exchange’s access from Facebook’s side:
- In Facebook, go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
- Find The Family Law Exchange in the list.
- Click Remove, and check the option to delete data the app has about you if offered.
Removing the app on Facebook stops all future data sharing with us. To also delete the account and data already on our platform, use Option 1 or Option 2 above — we honor every request.
What Gets Deleted
- Your member profile and account information (name, email, username).
- Profile data received through Facebook Login.
- Documents you submitted for member services, upon request.
Posts in community discussion boards may be anonymized rather than removed so conversations remain readable, unless you ask us to delete them entirely.
